So, when can we leave? Tomorrow would be ok with me.
We won? Hooray!!
Let’s all go down and welcome our troops home!
Hey you guys over at the AEI step away from the bong – no one will get hurt.
They urgently need a case of Kryptonite at the AEI bldg.
Well if you define victory as “creating the greatest terrorist breeding ground since Afghanistan in the 80’s (you know, the same one in which we trained and funded Osama bin Laden and his ilk)” then we certainly have won.

Actually it is an article speculating that we have now won the military war but also says things like:
“The terrorist struggle has hardly ended. Even a very small number of vicious men operating in secret will find opportunities to blow up outdoor markets and public buildings, assassinate prominent political figures, and knock down office towers. But public opinion is not on the insurgents side, and the battle of Iraq is no longer one of war fighting but of policing and politics.”
As always, more complex than the sneering would lead one to believe.
