I knew Bill Frist was a puppet of the far right, but I never knew Reverend Moon’s Times had its hand so firmly shoved in place.

    Frist is engaging in classic misdirection on two fronts. First, he is leading the Republican charge to change the subject from torture to an attack on Senator Durbin. That Frist relies on lies in making his attack is evidence of the importance to the Republicans to have Durbin discredited and also shows the lack of any real arguments they have. Secondly, wasn’t it just yesterday that Frist got up on national TV and lied about his “misdiagnosis” of Terry Schiavo? How embarrassing it must be. Got to get the public’s eye off that one fast doncha’ think?
