RollingStone.com: The Body & Soul of Jessica Alba
She is good-humored about the scrutiny, but she confesses the one-note quality of it all is starting to wear her out. “The scripts I get are always for the whore, or the motorcycle chick in leather, or the horny maid,” Alba says as she climbs a hill, panting slightly. “I get all these screenplays that start, ‘Tawnya is in the shower. The water streams down her naked, perky breasts.’ ” She sighs, then laughs a tired laugh. “I don’t think this is happening to Natalie Portman.”
Has Ms. Alba been sneaking around on my hard drive?
I love so much how Rolling Stone covers always take women seriously.
If the concern is RS demeaning women – I think that the best defense is to instill confidence and a self-identity with our young girls.
Education and values – I don’t see society changing anytime soon.

Dream on, Oliver.
Oh fer cryin’ out loud. Kryptonite to boobies, it seems.
Now if she could only…. act. I mean, it’s hard to sympathize with someone who a) is a terrible, terrible actress and b) clearly banks on her looks.
It’d be easier to take her seriously if she didn’t… you know… do covers like that for Rolling Stone and other magazines every other week. Poor Jessica.
Can you forward the horny maids oe to me?
I hear you, Vincent. I used to subscribe. I realized at one point they always asked the women, including Chrissie Hynde, when they lost their virginity. Seriously.
