Randi Rhodes has it right- the right wants you to vote for their candidates because they are black.

We want you to vote for our black candidates because they are qualified.

My prediction, when Steele loses, he will join FNC as their black “contributor” to go along with JC Watts. That’s about as far as you’ll ever be elected in the Republican party if you are black.

I was not really surprised by this selection…after all, the GOP bench in this state is pretty shallow.

However, running Steele gives the GOP another argument to use: instead of just saying “Democrats hate America, vote for us!” They can say “Democrats hate Steele because they’re a bunch of racists! Vote for us!”

Hello? I think most black people can tell the difference between a Clarence Thomas and a Barack Obama.
